Dena Gartenstein Moses

Luscious handwoven scarves, garments, and accessories in brilliant colors

Dena at her loomEach piece is created by hand, thread by thread on a loom in my beautiful studio in Putney, Vermont.

My primary line of work is in rayon chenille-scarves and shawls to drape around your body, fleece and silk lined hats to keep you warm and blankets for comfort. I also offer a line of lighter weight tencel scarves whose colors move and dance with the light.

I love the endless world of color available and work in many different color ranges, making colors sing, and creating pieces that are visually stunning and luxuriously soft.

My work is sold at craft shows and galleries throughout New England, by appointment in the studio and online. Feel free to call me with a special request. I offer lessons—both private and group, from my studio. I especially enjoy the process of taking my color work one step further and helping customers find the perfect combination to complement their own colors, tastes and moods.

I have been weaving for twenty-two years. I feel blessed to have found my home in the beauty of Southern Vermont, surrounded by fields, woods, gardens and animals. I love what I do ...I hope you love wearing one of my weavings as much as I have enjoyed making it.
